LARGE BARN

We turned out to be the ideal partner for the developer on this unique project. We accommodated his plan of building a cattle barn with the trees that were to be felled on his own property. The developer felled the trees and brought the trunks to us in Trun where we cut them at our own sawmill and then stored the cut lumber at our drying facility. Once the drying process was complete, the wood was processed at our woodworking shop and preparations were made for the frame assembly, which was then also completed by our carpenters. A total of 420 cubic metres of local timber was processed for the barn’s load-bearing structure, flooring and cladding – a highly cost-efficient and ecological construction, keeping the entire value chain local.
